Vaccinations before departure to Vietnam
According to Smartercomputing.org, Vietnam is a large and magnificent country that stretches so far that when there is bad weather one place in the country, then the sun shines another place. You can therefore travel to Vietnam all year round. However, you should always round up your doctor before, as flora and fauna are something completely different here than what we know in Denmark.
When wildlife and nature are so different from our usual environment, the bacterial composition will be the same. Therefore, we need to be vaccinated from home before heading out into the Vietnamese countryside.
Your doctor can always help you with which vaccinations you need. You can search for information about vaccination yourself at Danske Lægers Vaccinations Service . Here you can see which vaccinations are recommended for stays in Vietnam.

Popular animals you can experience in Vietnam
Vietnam is an elongated country that stretches across several climate zones. Therefore, both plants and wildlife are extremely diverse. Vietnam was originally heavily covered with forest and rainforest, with giant mangrove swamps along the coast. Many of the forests have gradually disappeared due to war and agriculture. In the mountains, rhododendrons, bamboo and beautiful orchids grow.
It is estimated that there are about 13,766 different plant species, of which 10% are endemic and therefore not found anywhere else in the world. Several animal species in Vietnam are threatened, due to loss of their habitat, but the reunification of North and South Vietnam has been an important part of the conservation and restoration of nature – Today, Vietnam has 28 national parks where wildlife lives.
