Duration of the trip : This trip lasts 15 days including a four-day beach stay at the end of your safari. We generally recommend planning at least two weeks for a Tanzania tour. After all, there should still be enough time to just let your mind wander and let what you have experienced have an effect on you.

Travel planning: Depending on the route, a direct flight with SWISS to Dar Es Salaam or a flight with KLM or Turkish Airlines to Arusha is more suitable.
Tip: If the budget allows, stay a little longer in Mahale National Park. The place is just magical and one of the most impressive we have ever seen!
Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam or Arusha
Day 2: Safari in Lake Manyara NP with Tree Top Walk
transfer and flight to Lake Manyara. Game drive through the national park at the East African Rift Valley. Experience the jungle at the lake in a special way with a treetop walk. Then drive to and overnight at the Plantation Lodge.
Day 3: Safari in the Ngorongoro Crater
Day trip in a private vehicle to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater with its rich wildlife. One of the few places in Africa where, with a lot of luck, you will see rhinos. Safari with picnic in the crater. In the late afternoon return to and overnight at the Plantation Lodge.
Day 4 – 7: Mahale National Park with chimpanzee trekking
Transfer to the airfield at Lake Manyara and with a “shared” charter flight to Greystoke Mahale National Park on Lake Tanganyika, the deepest freshwater lake in Africa. You will be taken by boat to the secluded lodge, which is located on the white sandy beach of the lake. While trekking, discover the realm of the chimpanzees in the heart of Africa, take boat trips on the lake and toast with a delicious cocktail in this magical place. Overnight at Nomad Greystoke Mahale Lodge.
Day 8-10
: Selous Game Reserve with Fly Camping and safari on foot. Transfer to the airfield and flight to the Selous. The Selous is the second largest nature reserve in the world. Not only the animal world, also the untouched nature is unique. The majestic Rufiji River and its tributaries traverse the reserve. Over a million animals live in the reserve, including one of the largest elephant populations on earth. Discover the park on game drives, walking safaris and boat trips.
In particular, you can look forward to a romantic fly camping excursion with an overnight stay under the stars of Africa.
Day 11-14: Relaxing beach stay in Ras Kutani
Flight to the Tanzanian coastal town of Ras Kutani for relaxing days on the beach.
15th day: Departure
Even the most beautiful vacation comes to an end. Overland trip to Dar es Salaam to the airport, say goodbye to Tanzania and return home.
